I'm on the fence about this. No doubt, HK's education system has its problems--- but it has its merits too. While the argument that the meritocracy we saw in the time of our forefather is falling apart (or some might even go to say it's always been a mirage), is totally valid, the fact that HK's "elitist" system had propelled so many people to otherwise unimaginable heights anywhere else, needs to be recoignised. The system we dont really like, is a far-fetched goal to another.
