I have seen a number of posts from my fellow artists about people not engaging with their art and whether they should continue. Other people should never ever be your motivation or reward for making art. Do it because you feel like it's what you're supposed to do. Do it because you like to make it. Whatever the reason, it is for you. Art doesn't validate you to anyone else. You are only facing yourself. When you accept that, it is a good feeling.
