Serious question: I don't agree with every position he takes and sometimes am annoyed with his pontifications, but curious at why all the hate from liberals on Bill Maher? He leans centrist liberal, he will call out hypocrisy on either side but he's by no means a supporter of the right. Is it that he will allow some terrible people on his show?

I actually used to like him as well (during the Bush stuff, and even the first Trump presidency) but his views on Palestine & Arabs & Muslims in general is honestly beyond problematic & is just straight up racist. I used to like his dry, sarcastic humor but at this point he’s out of touch and pompous about it 🤷🏻‍♀️
