As a mother, I am heartbroken. My toddler was repeatedly mistreated at her daycare by two teachers who refused to call her by her name, instead referring to her as “this one” and “that one.” They even made hurtful comments like, “Don’t bring her to my class; I don’t like her.” I brought these concerns to the daycare Director, but nothing was done.
