MY THOUGHTS ON WICKED (uncut/unedited): I went in thinking, this is a movie starring Ariana Grande, based on the marketing. Weird because Elphaba is the story, but Ari is a big name so - I get it. I thought Ari was good. I was put off by her opera sounding vocals. She’s talented AF vocally; I wish she would’ve put her own spin on Glinda instead of trying to be an opera singer like Kristen Chenoweth. She clearly poured her heart & soul into the role, so idk what more I wanted from her… 🧵1/6
