Firefly - if you cant tell from all the comments, that show had the fan base to justify plenty of work. Dark Matter - another epic universe created to be destroyed by simple minded studio execs. The 4400 - never really got an solid ending there. John Doe - what a solid premise with a good cast! And I think The Pretender from back in the late 90s is a good honorable mention here
