I've really been enjoying this graphite and watercolor drawing/painting combo lately. Intricate drawings with fluid washes of color - focused (as usual) on the delicate details, and the small but meaningful moments in my day - the warmth of the sun shining in through the kitchen window (even if it's very cold outside), the happy sporadic song of a bird, quiet moments, the stillness and serenity I associate with nature... Here is a little 6"x6" bird I'm working on for a show in March. 🌱🪺
