Entertainment side. I’m a ceremony musician. The bulk of the cost is the prep/set up/moving/ceremony timing and processional portion. Adding on a cocktail hour with your same musician will give you more of that music for a reasonable cost (so you might actually hear some of it). In my case, this is especially true if the instrument can stay in the same place for both portions. All that to say that the cocktail hour music is a must have, but you definitely have some wiggle room with live vs. DJ
