This was right after I woke up from getting my vaginoplasty 8 yrs ago. My mother was by my side & asked me "How do you feel?" "I finally feel like me." I answered, with a smile that was genuine for once & not forced. Why fight so hard to take this joy away from Trans people. It's just cruel.
