I think people who have a nose ring (especially big or multiple) or pink/blue hair are indicating that they don’t care what other people around them think because they are bucking societal norms of dress. And that indicates that they might be a highly opinionated person. Having opinions isn’t a bad thing, but being opinionated is. The opinionated person is going to drive all choices and decisions, and I think most of us want our voices to be heard in our relationships.
