In the summer he begs to stay outside after potty time, so we let him and then he will bark to let us know when he's ready to come in. Sometimes it's 20 minutes, sometimes it's 4 hours. (If it's REALLY hot I don't wait until he barks, I give him a few minutes and then make him come in.) We didn't think this behavior would continue in winter because he's tiny and not a husky! But Bartleby's love for the great outdoors cannot be overstated. And so he gets outside time in winter too! 2/4
