There was a kids & women’s hockey going on at this tournament and I worked a bit of all of them either Lines or as a Referee. But what I remember most was this men’s game where I was working as a Referee and one particular incident. The game was close, but not particularly chippy or rough. The players were respectful and listened well to my active verbal communications. Towards the end of the second period there was a lull in play where both teams changed lines as a player in possession… 2/🧵

I used to ref beer league in the same time period. Seven games on Sunday night…played one and reffed six. Good times and stories.
