3yrs ago at 58 I became semi-retired and struggled with the mindset thinking, "I'm 58 and work part time, I failed". It took a while to reprogram myself to understand, "at 58 I was situated comfortably enough to step away from full-time work and that's a good thing." Though I've been self-employed for over 20 yrs I struggled with my thinking.
