When I was 12, my parents gifted me a luggage set. I was mad mad because I didn't ask for it and barely got anything on my wishlist. That set lasted almost 20 years, dozens of vacations and multiple interstate moves. I was sad when I had to replace it.

A hydro flask salad bowl. It was my favourite gift last Christmas.

In highschool I wanted a stereo so bad, got a sewing machine instead. Best disappointment I ever received. I made a million memories with that sewing machine❤️

A Swiss Card - Swiss Army knife but in the shape of a credit card. It has a tiny pair of scissors inside that have saved the day many a time, especially during wedding prep (I was a wedding photographer a while back).

A food processor one year and a salad spinner another year. I use them all the time. Of course this only works for people who actually like to or have to cook!

I like to get and give consumable things. Maple syrup, good olive oil, pretty taper candles, pretty paper napkins.

Heated mattress pad. I hated it as a gift but I've become addicted.

Favorite wedding gift...wooden table, maybe 3x3 (teak?) with removable legs that rolled up into a carrier. That table was a part of every picnic, camping trip, and outdoor concert I attended for like 20 years. Red and white checkerboard tablecloth across the top and it became the foundation for a thousand new memories.
