On the plus side, I am now invisible. No longer need to be careful about where, when or how I walk by myself. Or to prevent being in a room alone with a man. No longer am being groped, spoken to in a scary manner, or leared at. I love growing old. But often when I see girls or young women walking outside, I say a silent prayer for their safety.
