to rattle of a few, rainbow rowell’s carry on series (i think the second one is the best and you may agree with what you described). the magicians series by lev grossman. the scholomance series by naomi novak… my friend also keeps telling me to read the shades of magic series by v.e. schwab so i think thats next up…. predominantly all magic based books, but also plenty of other supernatural elements to go around
