I did let her but I also thought it wasn’t appropriate. But to them it’s pretend. Like my son wanted to be Thomas the Tank Engine, she wanted to be a princess (whichever one of the day it was 🤷🏻‍♀️). But I do see don’t overly sexualize children. Like what small kid beauty pageants. I really don’t think that’s good for the kids or the society.

I have a daughter myself (2) and when she reaches that pre-teenager age i would not actively encourage her to do make up, simply because i dont want to teach her that 1) she needs enhancements and 2) she needs to look pretty.
