People do not celebrate men. So we get used to not celebrating ourselves .

I was in a cult and was forbidden it. Now I'm barely gonna celebrate it.

Idk,i guess is just not a big thing for us, I am doing my very best to trick everyone to forget about it,not mention it and be away. However,my brother does its best to do the minimum and not let me pretend i have no Idea what's going on. However,by minimum I mean ,maybe we have lunch together,have a coffee,joke and have a good laugh,no family party or friends invited. Today is his birthday,is him,me and a single friend of his. We oredered somethin,they're having a beer,i had 2 coffees,simple.

The last time I celebrated my birthday was my 25th. I decided I was going to rent a party bus, pay for a VIP section at a club, & whatever else we did that night (I don’t remember what else we did). I invited my all of my friends and even some aquaintances who were friends of those friends. Only 4 people showed up. In fact, we ended up collecting randoms off the street & the club. Those people partied with us all night. This wasn’t even a last minute thing either. I planned it a month ahead.

Shits depressing getting your hopes up for just another day. Fuck birthdays fr, it turns out to be the worst day of the year every damn time. It’s just ourselves beating ourselves up cause no one fuckign cares. 🤷‍♂️

I barely have anyone hit the birthday button on FB, why would I celebrate?

We don't care. It died when we left home. It's just another day when you're an adult. If we want something, we buy it. If we want time with our family, we make time. If you're living life right, you don't need just one day to celebrate your life.
