Warriors Truth
They slashed & clashed as they whirled about.
Each knew they’d win these men of might, soldiers of night.
Look the mighty warrior vanquished his foe.
A pity a waste his knowledge came slow. He’d won with the sword & lost to the bow.
From sword & arrow the blood ran slow. As they looked in the sky they both saw it now.
For others they’d killed. Neither knew why. It seemed a pity a waste somehow.
In rest they bequest. Learn to live & then to forgive. May we each do our best.
