Are there just a whole generation who thought RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE were a conservative band? Going by the comments on here it would appear so.

Weell, Zack glamps with and cosplays as a revolutionary and Tom is a Harvard alumnus who sold NFTs…

My dad is an officer and has told me with a straight face that Rage Against the Machine is his favorite band even though he “doesn’t like the way they talk about cops.” Probably the most confusing thing i’ve ever heard

Conservatives think they're the rebels and the elite leftist billionaires are the establishment.

I think the Ché Guavara and EZLN shirts and the revolutionary radical leftist lyrics didn’t send a clear enough message…

When did the band whose first album cover is a self-immolating monk get so political

My guess - RATM obviously made an impact and clicked with fans right away, but they also got floated alongside the more douchey rap-rock bandwagons and there was a section of their fanbase who got into how they sounded but straight up paid no attention AT ALL to the lyrics. And they became or were already fascist chodes, and now their tiny minds are blown when it’s pointed out that Rage were a little bit leftie

Conservatives aren’t known for their high IQs or historical knowledge; i watched one conservative live stream while getting high in a non-legal state while showing off his thin blue line tattoo.

Conservatives have an almost impressive history of missing the point in most media. We’re talking about a group that watches the Boys and thinks homelander is a good guy.
