The positivity in Vancouver this past few days is electric. But….it’s a beautiful city and place all on its own. “Swiftcouver” may have sparked a new appreciation but it also somewhat frightens me: the city is already expensive enough and locals cannot afford it…I only fear this event will make it harder for locals. 🥹 Artists are being priced out as it is….sorry not sorry but this has echoes of Expo, 1999, and 2010 Olympics all over it.
