It’s interesting to see how triggered some people get at the fact that shelter dogs are just not for everyone. I’ve had shelter dogs, I’ve had well-bred purebred dogs, I’ve had street dogs. I PROMISE you, a dog is not just a dog and different situations call for different ways of acquisition. Anyone who can’t see that and can’t fathom any reason for someone needing or wanting a well bred dog with known origin acquired from a breeder vs a shelter dog of unknown background is just being obtuse…
