Unpopular opinion: All healthcare professionals should treat one another with respect, especially over the phone. This includes my own profession, as we’re not innocent in this. We are all busy, have been battling the corporatization of healthcare, and deal with rude patients. The patient should remain at the center of our care and collaboration, and hearing another healthcare worker on the line who understands should be refreshing. (1/2)
