You know what’s not fair? I was the good one. I waited until marriage to have sex. I was engaged for two years. I was incredibly faithful and served my husband and family well while he was having multiple affairs and abusing me. And here I am, with a broken heart again, at 41 years old…answering questions like “oh, what do you do for work?” I’m tired and I’m lonely.
