Re 1) what about when it does get read?? I personally hear sooo many stories of authors books not being read until random moments. Like book 3 release of the series, one person picks up book 1 and loves it and tells so many people, etc. you never know when it’ll be a books time to shine! And yay for writing what you enjoy writing this year 🤩📝🎉
