Yes, the Maguire one. It’s a great book, and I would’ve devoured it as a kid! But a lot of folks seem to be thinking of it as something like the Harry Potter films vs the Harry Potter books, and there’s a much bigger difference between Wicked the novel and Wicked the musical. It’s a difference to be considered because each child is unique in the types of themes & situations they can handle without help processing them. As adults, we should be available to offer that if needed.
