Juan Soto’s contract really puts Shohei’s in perspective… the Dodgers got a pretty decent deal.

Shohei still got the best deal, $70 million/year vs $51 and he only has to play for 10 years.

Yall are so high on copium it’s insane. Dude is making $70,000,000 a year, $20,000,000 More than Soto per year. He’ll be 31 in the middle of the 2025 season with TWO TJ surgeries under his belt, having also not pitched since his arm injury, while Soto will turn 27 around the World Series and has no injury history. Everyone talking about “Mets overpaid for a DH” is gonna eat their words when a 35 year old Ohtani is getting paid $70,000,000 to be a DH because his arm blew up.
