On the topic of the UHC CEO, here are the 2 most important things my parents taught me about American healthcare, after my dad was sick for 24 years with kidney transplants, dialysis, and cancer: 1) Never EVER pay a bill that you aren’t 100% sure about. Challenge challenge challenge. Bc you’re never getting your money back if they made a mistake and you overpaid. 2) And if you get denied a claim, KEEP FIGHTING IT. Often (!!) they deny in error & are just hoping you’ll accept it lying down.
