Keep holding out for that! I agree with those who say be ready to put in the work, because marriage definitely requires it. But I suspect you were saying that you want to follow God's plan instead of fighting it. THAT is when you can have confidence and peace with your spouse. Let God lead as you enjoy marriage and put in the hard work, and even the hardest times will provide a security only found in Christ. I'm going on 8 years married and year 7 was our hardest yet, but we're still strong.
