Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell system is the first time in my adult life that I’ve ever seen a development so clear-cut incredible that I can say, with absolute certainty, IS our future. Most technological advances are middling band-aids or passing fads that make no positive lasting change. These cells can power whole buildings, be replaced in seconds, and be ready-made hot-swappable between every conceivable application. This is the gold rush. This is the big leap forward that actually matters.
