This actually reminds me of the time in kindergarten where we were learning what “nonsense words” were by breaking apart really long words into their syllables, for example “kin-der-gar-ten” -> kin is real, der is nonsense, gar is real, ten is real, and then the word chrysanthemum came up, and it was broken into “chry-san-the-mum” where apparently “mum” was argued to be a nonsense word, I argued that it’s not, and that I read it in a book, which I promptly brought to school the next day…
