Oooo this is interesting but we’d definitely have to adjust the expectations of our children first lol But the thing is, it doesn’t need to be extravagant to make them happy. I put up the tree early and let them decorate it without worrying what it looked like = happy kids. Do easy crafts to decorate the house = happy kids. I buy some presents from Marketplace. We attend mostly only the free Christmas Events. Oh and I’m single now so that did drop the most unnecessary expense 😅
