States may claim a monopoly on violence so long as there are mechanisms by which they can adequately protect the working class from those that would otherwise seek to exploit it. When those mechanisms fail, the state's ethical monopoly on violence is dissolved, and the monopoly man is hung. I don't celebrate violence, but violence will always be necessary. Those who disagree have either been tricked or seek to control you.
