No one eats til we are all seated. Littles will be served first so their food cools down. Then my oldest child, myself and my husband last so his is the hottest. Once everyone is seated w/ drinks and napkins, everyone will eat together.

How about at the same time because hopefully your family is not a fucking dog pack where someone needs to “show dominance.”?

If it’s a catholic household…. I think the kids are forced to eat the dad first usually

What about the mom. You know how many times I go over to my friends, my grandmas my aunts, My best friends and they make their plate LAST. After they jjsy took all the time cooking they are left with what everyone else didn’t take. I think everyone’s plate should be made at the same time.
