The ones getting $20 million are uniquely qualified for their jobs, and you couldn't get some no skill kid to replace them. On the other hand, a lot of the service workers could probably be replaced by the homeless because the skill level of their jobs are so low. Saying "You want fries with that" is easily replaceable.

I’m not sure which school you dropped out of or failed you, but my first job was in 84. Paid 3.35/hr min wage. No one even as far back as the 80s expected a min wage job to provide as you expect. No expectation to even rent your own apartment.
