The Donner movies disagree. When Kal-El stops pretending in Niagra, he sighs and defaults to Supe. He never goes the other way…taking off the mask of Superman to relax into Clark. I know the Donner movies aren’t the supreme authority, but they give textual support to Bill’s take.

18 小時內	Willow woman_yells_at_clouds	I think it just depends on the version of Superman. That scene was SPLENDIDLY acted, but I prefer the versions that have Clark pretending to be Superman. It makes him more human. He was raised by human parents, among human peers. He can’t really be wholly kryptonian, bc he was taught the same way the rest of us were. He didn’t start as Superman.
