If Starbucks baristas are demanding 35+ an hour why don't they just quit and find a job that does pay that? Must be something to do with skills or how hard and dangerous the work might be. 🤔 Starbucks

They all wanna do an easy ass job but won’t even consider doing actual $35/hr work 😂

In fairness, the profit margin of Starbucks is so high they should be compensating employees much better?

Exactly, you want skilled money work that type of job. Pouring coffee is not skilled labor.

OTHER POOR PEOPLE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM. It’s not a you vs them. It’s all of us vs the 1%. They have brainwashed everyone into tricking middle class people that lower class people are underserving. When in reality, we are all fighting each other for scraps while the elites hoard the wealth, pit us against us and laugh that we fall for it. Everyone deserves a living wage.

Why do you even care what Starbucks baristas make?

The argument that we need skills to be allowed to make a livable wage is the dumbest shit ever. I should be able to pay my bills and afford rent for a 1 bedroom apartment no matter where we work

That would require them to better themselves and most people would rather make demands.

It’s a difficult job. Try it for a day. You’ll see why.
