I know working here is just a test! Paske tell me why a couple walks up to my register and immediately starts dogging me out in creole. Talking bout my tapered cut & outfit. Little do they know i’m Haitian and understand every word. I let them continue. They kept struggling to say hurry up but I ignored them then he finally blurts out hurry up. 1/4

Working retail myself I can say some of the most horrific mean spirited experiences I ever dealt with came from my own people (Black people) Hispanics, Latinos and Asians. POC and Black folks can be very mean and uncouth in the customer service industry as workers AND customers and this is a conversation that needs to be had.
