Tw racism at work… Soo our holiday work party was 1920s/great gatsby themed and everyone was talking abt what they’re wearing. One of my Black coworkers said she didn’t know what to wear and was asking for advice… Why why WHY did not 1 but 2 of my white coworkers tell her she should go as a servant?!??!? It was a “joke” but.. And then one of them repeated it to another Black coworker bc she thought it was just THAT funny. For reference this was a millennial and a Gen Z that said this..

And for anyone wondering the Black girl who they said this to came dressed to kill at this party (not as a servant 💀) and we had a blast!
