This year’s Spotify recap reflects my biggest takeaway from this season of trials: it’s not about me; it’s all about Jesus. I’ve been learning to face everything I encounter in light of who God is, not in light of who I am or what I see. We are His children. If, like me, you start doubting that these promises are truly for you because of your flaws or failures—pause. Tell Jesus you’re sorry. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see that His promises are true because He is true.
