Blue Cross Blue Shield told me years ago they were in the business to make money not pay claims. I was asking for a drug reimbursement.

But in Malaysia we have free medical services for all who cant afford private medical care. How is that possible here but not possible in the world's richest country?!

How many people do you think they’ve put in a grave after moving the goalposts for insurance they pay the most in the developed world for and still don’t get. And I'm fine with that, as long as it's truly UNNECESSARY CARE that they are denying. The question is and remains, what is their definition of "unnecessary care"?

Of course it is unsustainable! This should be a public service, just like public safety, and services cost money. We cannot expect the police or fire departments to make a profit. How could you Americans have allowed healthcare to become a business? It is indeed unsustainable that the only way an insurance company can guarantee a good profit is by denying care, it is so obvious!

In other words we can't give you the care that you need because it cuts into corporate profits
