Had to take younger spawn to ER for some sort of seizure or something. This nurse said that all seizures involve losing consciousness and bladder control. Not according to what I read, but the internet isn’t always reliable. Any Nurses know?

Nope you’re right! That nurse wasn’t worth her weight in 💩 if she said that to you! Absence seizures, atonic seizures, temporal lobe seizures etc… are all different types of seizures that don’t involve shaking or loss of bladder control. Don’t allow those people to tell you what you know is right. I’ve been dealing with ignorant nurses & doctors since 1998 & luckily I had my advocate with me. Just be there for her bc they’ll do whatever if she’s alone & not conscious

My daughter has epilepsy. She’s never lost control of her bladder during a seizure.
