I’m happy for people who are able to do a home birth, but I personally would never. My first probably would have died in a home birth, and I was low risk with no previous complications. On paper, a really good candidate for a home birth. So a hospital is where I will always have my babies. 🤍 there are so many different experiences though so hopefully you get a variety and can make the best choice for you!

I had three hospital births, an accidental car birth and then just had a homebirth in August. It was so beautiful and I loved every bit of it! I was a perfect candidate as a low risk mom. I have a lot of my story saved in my IG!

There are successful home births and there are many disasters as a result as well. If you have an OB or Midwife that you trust, formulate a birth plan and trust your providers. No one at the hospital wants to prevent a successful natural birth! I’d always deliver at a hospital with a NICU in case it’s needed than at home and transfer my baby if there is a disaster. I’ve head cooled a number of babies after home births that have forever neurological problems as a result. Why risk it all?
