So, a couple of weeks back we found out from some council workers our next door neighbour, who has never cleared her back garden, has got rats. My wife got worried as our houses are connected and we started listening out. Sure enough we started hearing noises. My wife reported it. They sent a bloke out and he said he thinks it is just one, put a trap down. Yesterday my wife went to get some pasta and found it had been gnawed. She checked the drawer above and the tea towels were full of pee.🤨☹️

They didn't or couldn't get out of the walls into the house, but they made a load of noise and my wife and daughter freaked out. The village ratman came round, spent some time poking around outside, and put humane traps where he thought they were getting in. Since then we've hardly had a scratch. The odd one, they're still around, but the difference is huge. You'll never get rid, they're in the landscape, but things can be done.
16 分鐘內	Jo Moffatt jojo_moffatt	Oh that’s grim. We had that with an under sink cupboard and mice - what a smell. And they carry disease too so it’s a real pain to thoroughly clean and often chuck stuff that can’t be cleaned. I don’t envy you.
