I apologize because it appears my phrasing was not optimal. It was a genuine question not an assertion or minimization of anything. I realize this is Threads and so attacks/ugliness are common, but sometimes a question is just that. I’ve no doubt that this was a major step away but the truth is many vocations — anything from being a therapist to a book publisher also establishes a bond, so what makes K-12 education especially so? Yes, like grief—unique to each of us but also common to all.
