I'll add a few details to this: her food is on a custom-built shelf that is at the perfect height for her to jump on with ease while being too high for our dog to reach, yet she insists that I place her on it, shake her bowl so the food covers the bottom, and pet her while calling her pretty. And THEN she'll eat.
