I don't know if I've mentioned this (and I'm having a bad focus day) but I've got a plot bunny for a "Who's afraid of little old me" inspired romantasy about an ancient witch who shows up at every coronation to curse or bless the king (depending on how she feels), and curses the latest king so his son decides she gotta go... then finds out it was his ancestor who broke her heart and caused the curse on his kingdom due to his selfishness.
