Wow. You all have so many wonderful stories to share that redeems humanity. I lose my canes. I can’t walk with consistent balance and my brain injury makes me very forgetful. So I do walk away from my cane. But not far BUT my cane disappears pretty quickly and doesn’t get turned back in … I had lost my cane 4 times in the same store in a matter of 6 weeks when I first started venturing out of the house alone.
