Veilguard is NOT a good entry point into the series it is fully a sequel to Inquisition. Having played every Dragon Age game and every dlc it is IMO the worst of the series. Not terrible but not good, a 6/10. If you are looking for a fun fantasy action game it's fine. If you are looking for a deep fantasy role-playing experience steer clear. If you are looking to get in to dragon age either start with Inquisition, or if you can stomach older games, start at the beginning with Dragon Age Origins.
