His family is still very much involved and that is why he has a badass lawyer. It’s not inherently bad that he’s rich, he is saying he doesn’t want to accept donations, he is standing up for others (allegedly), and he is breaking the status quo by questioning his family’s wealth. And let’s not forget that despite being rich, health insurance STILL fucked them over, no one is safe
